Meggs Solo Show Nov 08, 2007 at 10:50
Lifelounge is proud to be sponsoring an upcoming solo show, Alter Egotism of one of Melbourne's foremost and respected street artists - Meggs. The show is due to open on Friday 23rd of November at the Utopian Slumps Gallery and will be running right through until the 2nd of December. from what i've seen of the pieces from the show, his latest work features violent mash ups of popular comic and cartoon icons and fresh type. If you're in at the time Melbourne make sure you pop down for look. Awesome stuff.

Meggs sent us a few snaps of some of the pieces from the show which you can view to the right of this post ---->

very much looking forward to this show! thanks for supporting it and making it happen Life Lounge. Personally I'm really enjoying the increase in street art's gallery exhibitions - certainly makes it a little easier than walking the streets to see new pieces.
