Typical American landscape photography might depict the flashing lights
of Las Vegas, the palm lined boulevards of Santa Monica or the bustling
Manhattan metropolis, but typical Jeff Brouws images are not.
In his series, Approaching Nowhere,
Brouws' America reflects a post apocalyptic wasteland of abandoned
ghost towns, highways and demolition sights. In stark contrast to the
usual messages of a thriving land of the free and opportunity, his
image paint an over franchised, discarded and abused country that reeks
of soul selling exploitation. Amazing work though. To see more of Jeff
