Rens - I used to work for a guy who spent a lot of time in NY. He’d always say “Yo B, this shit is bananas”. Hopefully some of that ends up here.

Brigitte Sire takes photos of pretty girls
<< Back
and pretty boys Apr 22, 2008 at 12:24
Brigitte Sire is more popular than you. Her photography has been featured in magazines like Mass Appeal, Anthem, Soma, Urb and Nylon and she's taken photos of the likes of Justice, Larry Clark, Sean Kingston and Jason Lee (who we love, even if he is a Scientologist).

Her pictures often catch her subjects looking vulnerable; maybe a little sad, or sleepy, or weak, or naive. Or all of the above. Her use of soft lighting, or filtered light, brings a feeling of innocence to the images.

Attached is a small selection of her many, many works. But make sure you check out her website for the fascinating collection of photos she took at a missionary training centre. Almost too good.
