At a first glance they kind of look like the over photoshopped desktop wallpapers you'd expect to see on tech community websites, but they're not at all... They're actually the result of a craze that has been slowly brewing over the last few years amongst photographers on image sharing websites like flickr called Camera Tossing.
As the name implies, camera toss images are created by using a long exposure setting, opening the shutter and literally throwing your camera up in the air. The images are completely random and unpredictable and often result in effects that would be otherwise impossible to achieve.
