If you were tall, short, fat, skinny, hairy, a conjoined twin, tattooed, limbless, or ate weird food;
chances are you could have had a job as a circus freak back in the day.
And even though some people think political correctness has gone to
far, you can thank fuck it's come a long way since then.
These posters are part of a gigantic collection of old circus advertisements from all over the world, promoting everything from clowns, to magicians, to acrobats and jugglers. I liked the freaks best though, because the illustrations are so dramatic and exaggerated, and they actually make the freaks look quite beautiful. Most of them, anyway.
