Nümph is like a fashion fairytale; seven young women who worked in different fashion fields (design, print, textiles, graphics and marketing) were given the chance to start a label together, funded by a fairy godmother. Their dream was to create clothes that were feminine but still edgy, beautifully crafted but still affordable and "still useful on a rainy Tuesday".
Some of the designs experiment with retro graphics and don't quite work, but there is a bunch of great pieces in this collection. Nümph seems to be at its best when at its simplest; the black dresses, tartan tops and skinny jeans are all good and make some of the other items look a bit Little House on the Prairie-ish.
