We know that Disney stole all these stories warped them into mushy feel-good tales, we know Disney is a gigantic multinational that is probably taking over the world, we know Walt Disney himself was a massive anti-Semitic. But as if you don't want to see Scarlett Johansson dressed up like Cinderella in a photo by the amazing Annie Leibovitz.
To celebrate Disney's Year of a Million Dreams, they're advertising. And they're pulling out the big guns: Annie Leibovitz has taken a series of fairytale photos starring A-List (and a few C-List) celebrities including Beyonce Knowles, Scarlett Johansonn, Lyle Lovett, David Beckham, and my hero Julie Andrews.
The campaign launches in March in magazines including Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue, and The New Yorker.
The photos are all super sleek and styled, and the Cinderella tiara is a one-off Harry Winston number, and is worth $325 thousand. Big deal. I want to know why Roger Federer is King Arthur!
Apparently more images are on their way, including Leibovitz's take on The Little Mermaid.
