Personally, I don’t think there’s enough places for alcoholics to hide
their drinks. If only someone could dream up an invention that allows a
gentleman to enjoy a sneaky tipple on the golf course. Something like
this cheeky driver that stores and dispenses shot after shot of fine
malt liquor. I’ll take four! Sorry, it was begging for a pun.

You mean, you'll take fore. The calling of "fore" on the golf course after hitting a stray shot, or a shot that is likely to hit someone, is a shortened version of saying "fore-warned". It originates from a time when golf was played by gentlemen who talked funny. Besides, as most golf courses have water features inhabited by water-fowl, yelling "duck" would just be stating the bleeding obvious, causing no alarm at all. Yes, I'm not very busy this morning.
