Everybody's favourite Golden Girl Estelle Getty dies

Estelle Getty, best known for her role as grumpy, wise-cracking, cheeky old bird Sophia in the Golden Girls, has died at 84-years-old. The actor who also appeared in Tootsie, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot and Stuart Little, had suffered from Lewy Body Dementia for years. She got her start at the Yiddish Theatre and as a comedian in the 'Borsch Belt' of upstate New York.
She was always everybody's favourite Golden Girl. Anybody who thought that whore Blanche was their favourite is fooling themselves.
