Luke Lucas - I'm not really sure how to classify this blog but I hope to share with you a few of things that I find interesting, amusing and inspiring. As an editor and head designer of the Lifelounge family, I'm semi obsessed with all things typography, design and art. Enjoy.

Or why vintage ski posters are a smart investment Nov 08, 2009 at 10:09
There are lots of ways to save for your retirement. If you work a nine-to-five your (compulsory) superannuation should just about keep you alive on cat food in your golden years. Alternatively, you can look into property investment, or shares, or buy a business or whatever.

Thing is, all those options are speculative. Maybe they’ll make CRAZY money, maybe they won’t. If you want a sure shot, a guaranteed winner, vintage ski posters is where you should be ploughing your spare change.

Although the scene is pretty niche at the moment and prints rarely go over $10 thousand, you can expect those prices to SKYROCKET in coming years. Once the icecaps melt and we’re all knee deep in water and tropical sunshine these old prints are going to be worth a fortune. And then you’ll be KING OF THE WORLD.

lol I just got some money from a long term investment that is now released and was going to have a play with shares, now I'm not so sure... Thanks for the hot tip! :D - Jake OXO
