Nashville-born, Brooklyn-based Greg Miller has taken some of the most beautifully composed photos we've seen in a little while. Travelling the US to photograph the everyday; county fairs, public swimming pools, beaches, his timing is impeccable and the depth of field is almost uncanny.
Miller has worked as a professional photographer since the late-80s and teaches at The International Center of Photography in New York. During the mid- to late-90s he used a 100-year-old Kodak 2D camera and now works with a wooden K.B. Canham 8x10 Camera. His old school equipment and contemporary eye make for some really beautiful shots. He says that he uses the big, old camera for a few reasons; one being that its sheer size means he is forced to interact with his subjects which alters the outcome every time.
