Johnny Depp ain't broken, so stop fixing him

This time it's a remake of 21 Jump Street May 16, 2008 at 03:37
Not content with a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, or a ballet version of Edward Scissorhands, now a movie version of another Johnny Depp delight, 21 Jump Street is in the making. You can shudder and/or cringe now. Jonah Hill (best known as the funny fat kid from Superbad) will apparently bring the television classic to the big screen with the help of one of its original writer Stephen J. Cannell.

Johnny Depp's Edward Scissorhands was heartbreaking, Glen's death scene in A Nightmare on Elm Street is still terrifying and gross, and dreamboat tough-guy with a heart of gold Tom Hanson in 21 Jump Street cannot be bettered.

So while it's not ideal, Hill seems smart enough not to ruin 21 Jump Street for everybody. And maybe we should be grateful that it's not going to be 21 Jump Street: The Area Spectacular.

wow hollywood has finally run out of ideas. So does this mean from now on every decade will have its own "interpretation" of a classic flick?

what has happened to originality??
True Advanced Member
No such thing as originality everything has been done it's how you put things together so it look like it original.
True Advanced Member
so that statement of yours contradicts itself pretty badly. and P.S its complete bullshit. i see original things every fucking day! just cos something can remind you of something else does not meant its not original.
