Joshua Lutz and the forgotten Meadowlands between New York and New Jersey
Photographer Joshua Lutz says the Meadowlands, 32-square-miles between
New York City and New Jersey, is "a place to pass through and forget on
the way to some place else". It's certainly not what you normally
associate with New York; there are no schamncy ladies in Manolos, cool
kids on low-riders, amazing sky-rise buildings or anything – it's
normal and perhaps a little bleak. But Lutz does what so many talented
artists do; he finds the beauty and the unique element to the perfectly
ordinary.

I love shitty motels. Not to stay in, just to look at.

Haunting.
Don't deny it Mikolai, you love those dusty bedsheets and thick carpets with spare change still in them.
