Julian Casablancas enters the 11th dimension

Julian Casablancas (AKA the frontman for New York-based garage-rock dreamboats, The Strokes) has just leaked the first track from his upcoming solo album Phrazes For The Young. The super anticipated album has got a lot of people nervous but if '11th Dimension' is anything to go by, the album is going to be a doozie.

'11th Dimension' is a bit of a homage to 80s pop and is smothered in synths. It's like The Strokes turned into an old school electro-rock boy band, possibly sporting glittery suits and skinny ties. Maybe even a keytar. Basically, it's a pop delight and is catchy-as-fuck. Try not listening to it five times in a row, Casablancas hasn't lost his touch.

Ohh it IS a pop delight! I give it three months before this song is featured in a Canon, Mac or Vodafone advertisement.
