Op shops are a treasure trove for all kinds of things. Always good for a scarf, brooch or fugly figurine; the op shop is also consistently full of incredibly daggy, and sometimes scary records (poor old Kamahl always has at least four albums in every collection). Sometimes it's the cover art, sometimes it's the title, sometimes it's the artist; there's usually something worthy of a giggle. As if you don't want to listen to Picking Up Girls Made Easy, or know what the fuck My Turtle's Dead! is all about, or gaze at that lady's bum-crack on Looks Like Fun! Of course you're mildly offended / amused / confused by the cover art of In Deepest Africa. As if you're not gagging to hear all the reasons why God Isn't Dead! And don't pretend you're not keen to listen to a creepy-as-fuck lady and a gigantic puppet tell us that Trees Talk Too!
But apart from the fabulous design, ingenious titles, and (probably) hysterical content, I really just love the incredible over-use of exclamation marks.
