LCD Soundsystem has leaked its first release since 2007's album Sound of Silver. And not a moment too soon. We missed you, Mr Murphy.
'Bye Bye Bayou' is a cover of Alan Vega's 1981 track of the same name, but apparently won't be appearing on LCD Soundsystem's upcoming album, which is slated for release next year. The song is a moody, extended version of the original (which is already over six minutes), complete with helicopter sound effects and Murphy's always intriguing, often nonchalant vocals.
