Just the other day there were stories about Lady Sovereign going broke after the much-hyped, much-played (there was a time that it was illegal not to play a remix of 'Random' every night in bars across Melbourne) Public Warning faded away, and then suddenly the self-proclaimed biggest midget in the game was back. Kind of. 'I Got You Dancing' is a bit danceable and Lady Sovereign gets a little more sing-songy than she has in the past.
There's also a music video that almost completely altered my perspective of the song, and now I have no idea if I like it or hate the shit out of it. It's equal parts school project, homage to 'Thriller', Dawn of the Dead, Mad Max, stop-animation and then there's Lady Sovereign with her very few, slow, lazy dance moves and a very odd 80s inspired perm.
Hot tip: Listen to the song a couple of times before watching the video.
