Ooh, Ladytron. The band famous for their super popular 'Seventeen' (from 2002) are set to release their new album Velocifero in June this year.
The first single from it will apparently be 'Black Cat' – it's dark, commanding, synth-smothered, bolshi, and the lyrics are in Bulgarian. It pretty much sounds like vocalist Mira Aroyo is punishing you. In one of those really good ways.
They are about to embark on a massive tour through the UK, Europe, USA and Canada which will continue until July.

Oh hell yes. Saw them in Denver in 06 and it is to this day the best live performance I've seen. Didn't hurt that CSS opened for them. I know they are back this way in June, be sure to check your local listings and don't miss out.
