Fact: Time Machine is a rad hip hop crew. Fact: M.I.A. could quite possibly be a genius.
But since listening to Time Machine's recent take on the perfectly killer 'Boyz' from M.I.A., I'm thinking that sometimes maybe two rights can make a wrong.
It's not completely terrible, it's just that old "If it ain't broke..." thing, and nothing M.I.A. ever did was broken. Ever. And I'll fight anybody who disagrees.
Meanwhile, Time Machine are (still) apparently working on their new album to follow up 2004's tasty Slow Your Roll. Time to get busy fellas. Let's hope they create more little winners like 'A Million and One Things to Do' and 'The Wiggle' and don't include their version of 'Boyz' on that one.
