MadeMe's Spring 2008 collection is made up of some fabulous pieces, and some not-so-fabulous ones. But, really, you could put that model in a stained tea-towel, and you'd still call it couture. Girl's on fire.
MadeMe is just a year old, and was founded by Erin Magee - a Canadian-born, now New Yorker - who is unashamedly Madonna-obsessed. She moved to New York to become the centre of the universe (like Madonna), and even based her first collection her.
The Spring 2008 collection definitely has its highs; the denim, hoodies, tees and leggings are all super nice, but the MadeMe logos on some of the pieces are where the collection falls down.
It's all definitely worth a look though, because the winners are capable of outshining the losers. But nothing is capable of outshining that model.
