Mia Overgaard (AKA miaomiao) divides her time between Paris, Copenhagen and New York painting, drawing, and designing clothes. Sounds pretty good. Her illustrations are usually pastel coloured and quite girly, with clothing and the female form often focal points. Her contrasts between messy guache splatters and extremely fine detail make many of her pieces even more interesting.
She studied many different arts courses and her clients include Amelia's Magazine, CosmoGirl, Fused Magazine and Perfect Kiss Records. She has been featured in fashion shows and art exhibitions in Paris, London, Denmark, Estonia and Germany.
