French fashion designer, film maker, artist and activist and founder of
Andrea Crews, Maroussia Rebecq, makes consumerism a little bit
guilt-free. All her garments are made
from bits and pieces saved from discarded, second-hand clothing and
(before you scrunch up your noses) they don't look like it.
The concept behind Andrea Crews is simple, and anybody with a bit of a conscience and some creativity has had this idea before, but there are a couple of big differences; Rebecq made it happen and she is actually talented.
This season's collection is again super bright, bold, almost crude and raw graphics with lots of interesting cuts and pretty much everything still manages to look comfy as funk.
