Ms Jones - The Ku Klux Klan's seamstress of hate couture
<< Back
Aryan Outfitters by Anthony Karen Aug 13, 2008 at 11:37
To tell you the truth the fact that "Aryan Power" organisations like the KKK still exists in this day and age makes me want to throw up exorcist style all over the walls. And another thing, where do the douchebags that get involved in organisations like this even get their ceremonial hooded robes. I mean it's not like you can walk into Kmart and shop for them in the low-life racist fuck or hate couture department. Thankfully there aren't too many people making these cowardly hate gowns but ex-marine now New York photojournalist, Anthony Karen managed to track down one  full-time Ku Klux Klan seamstress, Ms. Ruth.

Ms Ruth comes from 5 generations of Kluless hate and uses her earnings to care for her 40 year old quadriplegic daughter, Lilbit, who was injured in a car accident 10 years ago. Every Sunday, her husband goes off to sell his white pride merchandise at the local flea market, while Ms Ruth personally folds and blesses each custom robe she makes before shipping them directly to the customer. They come in satin or cotton with quality custom robes selling for up to USD$140 a pop. Live the dream Ms Ruth, live the dream. I think I'm going to hurl again. Fuck.

Check out the images from the series Aryan Outfitters to the right of this post and for more info and audio samples by the photographer and even Ms Ruth visit Mother Jones.

Aryan Outfitters, Hate Couture...some of your finest work Luke. Does it make it right that she's using her talents to profit from hate so she can care for her disabled daughter? Enabling the mentally deficient to aid the physically challenged? It's a curly ethical question is it not? Well, let's just apply the hair straightener of logic to it. Nope. It's aaaaall wrong.

One of the great things about these photos is that it makes these abhorrent people look completely absurd; the Ku Klux Klan just love playing dress-ups.

Henry Rollins has some great comic work about the KKK. hilarity.

You should have taken the credit man. I'm just sitting here quietly enjoying the afterglow of 'hair straightener of logic' myself.

Yes, the moral and ethical questions raised by this lady are very...questionable. Why not get a real job, or become a tailor or something. I mean, really - blessing the KKK clothing?!

The grand wizard who was on Howard Sterns show is from Georgia, and I had his daughter and son over my house before.Their teachings must not be that good for his on family to still chill with different races.
