NHL Goalie Mask Art

Amazing airbrush artwork Nov 15, 2007 at 05:16
It's no secret that I love hockey, and am one of the 12 players in Australia. (Did I mention I called the team Lifelounge?) To be quite honest I probably wouldn't like it as much if it was mainstream and massive like in other countries, but none the less... it's a tiny sport here, and we get limited to no coverage of it. If I tell someone I play hockey, they assume that it is grass hockey, which incidentally I dislike immensely.

Well I stumbled upon this gallery of NHL Goalie masks that are just amazing. I have always admired the artwork on these, all the goalies that have played for / against / with me have custom  airbrush art, which seems to be lost these days. Well it's no surprise that the cream of the crop are the NHL ones. The details is superb, I would love to see a gallery exhibition with all of these on a wall, would look amazing.

Check out the pics to the right, awesome --------------->

nb: Editors favorite: The one with Yoda on the back, I always tell my goalie when he's playing well: "Nice save, the force is strong with you tonight".

For more go here.
