By now you've probably heard that Nas is recording an album entitled Nigger. If the record's title makes you feel a little awkward, the first single 'Be a Nigger Too' might have you cowering in the corner.
You'll hear that the lyrics are actually thoughtful, interesting, and confrontational, if you pay attention beyond Nas dropping the N-word like bombs over Baghdad. Nas calls out to all races by using their respective derogatory names (like 'Kike' and 'Spic') and embraces all non-whites as his family by reclaiming and using the racist slurs that were (and are) thrown at them.
So whether you feel confronted, empowered, or awkward, this is an album that won't disappear quietly.

Its a new era. The word Nigger shouldn't offend us anymore.Comedians(Dave Chappelle) have made money from the skits dealing with the word nigger for awhile now.Phat track though.

this is funny direction, and alot about this stuff coming out in hiphop recently.
the roots were also waving the same type of flag for thier album.
to tell you the truth i was really hoping nas would make a full album like the track "Who Killed It" in his "hiphop is dead" album. it's really taking a leaf outta mf doom style.. i think it might actually be mocking him..
nice track indeed..

Didn't like it. Nas hasn't put out anything that's impressed me since Illmatic...
