Norwegian designer Solveig Elton Jacobsen won a swag of awards for her first label and then teamed up with her sister Åshild to create Elton and Jacobsen. The duo draws inspiration from art and science fiction as well as "drama queens and street style". And we like them even more since finding out that the label is a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative of Norway which aims to create awareness about consumerism and promotes sustainability in the fashion industry.
Their spring/summer collection is a little hit and miss; some pieces fall a little flat but a bunch of others don't fail to impress (the crazy-ruffle skirt and panelled leggings are favourites).
