Psychedelic Poster Art Masters
The psychedelic art movement of the 1960s and 70s, aside from being the only graphic art form inspired by mind altering experiences induced by hallucinogens, has produced some of the most amazing poster art that has ever existed. Coinciding with the anti-conservative counter culture of the time, the art form expressed a free flowing kaleidoscopic mash of colour, illustration, design and typography.
Below is a collection of some of the posters of the time from legendary artists such as Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley, Victor Moscoso, Wes Wilson and others. Enjoy.
