A nice escape from the too much and the trash, Lorick New York is busily making ladies out of all of us. Without sacrificing contemporary style, Lorick manages to make pieces that pay homage to golden age of class. Influenced by everything from flappers to mods, Hindu gods to Nordic horse-riders, Lorick's most recent collection is all charm.
The Autumn / Winter range is made up of metallic shifts, playsuits, peacoats and 50s shaped frocks in deep greens, navies, silver and gold. The designs might not be for everybody, but the pretty much cuts are; with flattering shapes dominating the collection.
Lorick is the brainchild of ex-model Abigail Lorick who, by the age of 18-years-old, worked in Europe appearing in magazines like French Cosmopolitan and American Harper's Bazaar. In 2003 began a degree at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology and in Spring last year, launched her own label.
