Richard Renaldi, Touching Strangers

It's clever, right? Touching Strangers. Touching Strangers. The double meaning is quite a smart from the mind tank of photographer Richard Renaldi.
Renaldi travelled around the US getting strangers to touch each other for his series (and the result isn't nearly as creepy as my description just then). Some of the images are incredibly awkward - like when you have to hug your great, long-lost, stinky uncle from Eastern Europe - and some are amazingly natural; a lot of the photographs look like families, partners, or friends who have known each other since forever.
It's a fascinating concept that begs the question, why can't we all just get along? Really.
