| Mark Mothersbaugh - Life After Devo |

Mark Mothersbaugh, one of the founding members, vocalist and synth
player of arguably one of the most original post-punk/new wave bands of
the late 70s / early 80s - Devo, is holding a solo art show at the
Scion art space in Culver City, CA. The exhibition, Rugs During Wartime and Peacetime
showcases Mothersbaugh's artistic abilities through the medium of
household rugs and is an exploration of the imagery we choose to bring
into our homes and how we interact with it for the purposes of comfort
and peace-of-mind, rather than an esoteric sense of art for art's sake.
As far as rugs go these pieces are pretty amazing. Check out the samples to the right of this post --->
The exhibition opens this Saturday (November 17) and will be running
right through to December 1, check the flyer to the right of this post for details and for more info visit Scion Space here.
