London-based artist Jiro Bevis cites his brother's records and his father's comic book collection as inspirations for his often abstract and bizarre artworks. His creations have often been compared with surf art of the late 60s and since graduating from Central St. Martins in 2004, Bevis’s dirty-playful, cartoon artworks have attracted clients such as Nike, Sony, Black Lips, Six Pack, Vice, The Guardian and Virgin.
