Rens - I used to work for a guy who spent a lot of time in NY. He’d always say “Yo B, this shit is bananas”. Hopefully some of that ends up here.

Saul Williams is the infamous Niggy Tardust
<< Back
The love-child of Williams and Trent Reznor Jun 30, 2008 at 09:42
Mr Saul Williams is unstoppable. He is vocally anti-Bush, a published New York Times writer, has performed alongside Nas and Erykah Badu and a million others, starred in Slam, and made U2 not make your ears bleed. The musician, poet, writer and actor is about to (officially) release his album The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust! which was produced by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor.

While there's a little confusion surrounding this latest album (sort of released late last year via the interwebs, but officially available in early July) there's no doubting the versatility and thoughtfulness of Williams. A bonus track 'World on Wheels' premiered a day or two ago and in just a minute-ish Williams covers history, slavery, sex, money and drugs. The man is powerful. Very powerful.
