Rens - I used to work for a guy who spent a lot of time in NY. He’d always say “Yo B, this shit is bananas”. Hopefully some of that ends up here.

Semi-Permanent 08

Freebies galore Mar 04, 2008 at 04:07
The Semi-Permanent design conference, presented by Design is Kinky and Artrage, is a very special opportunity to see, hear, and learn from respected and ground-breaking international, interstate and local creatives about design, publishing, advertising, media, photography, and illustration.

This year's speakers include 2006 World Press Photo of the Year Award winner Spencer Platt, ARIA award-winning graphic designers from Debaser, Sydney painter Ben Frost, Perth gamers Interzone, and Jamie Driver and Luke Lucas from the super-cool [not my words], incredibly charming and genius [my words] Melbourne creative agency, Lifelounge.

We have two double passes to Perth and one ticket to Sydney Semi-Permanent for some lucky Lifelounge readers. So just email comps@lifelounge.com and tell us your favourite Lifelounge design and explain why you chose it. And don't forget; flattery gets you everywhere. Especially to the Semi-Permanent conferences.

Semi-Permanent 2008:
Sydney 4th and 5th April
Perth 8th April
Brisbane 12th April
Auckland 15th and 16th August

Check out semipermanent.com for more information.

God I'd love to go - Amy Sol, Anthony Lister, Ben Frost. And of course the Lifelounge boys - but I've been hearing one of them speak since I was 3. Way to go, bro. ;)
