Shakuhachi's Autumn / Winter lookbook is full of muted colours, cosy-looking jackets, interestingly cut frocks, and a model with suspiciously grey eyebrows. Jessie White's label is allabout good quality tailoring, clever detailing, and feminine lines.
This season strays pretty far from Shakuhachi's Summer range. With fewer brights, more subtle patterns, and braver pieces creating a collection that is more (for want to a better word) grown-up.

I'm starting to see something strange but welcomed introduction of Fashion based in Sydney. I think Jessie's collection is quite fantastic. Directional, great construction methods with the geometric prints. It does not look flimsy, half-completed nor dowdy. I usually similar collection of this aesthetic abroad particularly from Scandinavia but finally, one of a few really good Sydney based designers challenging Sydney's fashion culture.
