Some Type of Wonderful 2010 – Sydney launch party

Some people at Lifelounge might be a little bitter about missing the launch of Some Type of Wonderful 2010 in Sydney. But that doesn't mean that all the fancy men and lovely ladies who did get to partake in typographic treats didn't have a splendid, if not squishy, time at China Heights on Friday night. Special thinks goes out to the fantastic crew at Kirin Beer, there are none better!

I'd like to see some kind of comparison between the crowds in Sydney and Melbourne - you know, some sociology type isht to see if people look / dress different. Or like a blind test where you see a pic and have to decided which city the person is from. Can we do that? And like offer a prize or something?

I love that idea a lot. And just to fuck people off, the prize should be either a trip to Melb/ Sydney. Or if you really want to fuck people off, the prize is just a trip to Sydney.

If you really wanted to fuck people off the prize would a trip to Adelaide. But you wouldn't tell them that until they won.

Ooooo shit just got serious. I like it.

would you make sure it was in a climatically controlled environment? sydney was ever so balmy that evening....

there were way too many posers drinking their beers in front of the artwork when i went that night. so frustrating when your trying to look at the work.
True Respect
Yeah, opening night can be problematic from an actual viewing of the art point of view in a small space like China Heights.
