Some of the men Ryan Pfluger has met
New York born Ryan Pfulger has worked as a professional photographer since completing a Masters in Fine Arts. He feels that "there is a strong, vulnerable connection between the individual, their sense of self, their surroundings, and their bodies". His portraits are often of men which might be partly because of his connection to his childhood and adolescence, his father's absence and his own sexuality. Whatever the reason though, it's a good vacation from the often female-focussed world of photography.
