Sydney-based Spod has come out of retirement to offer up three tunes which are (in their words) "unrelated to anything but the relentless and unquestioning platonic love between man and beast". So it's all about loving animals, but not in the dirty way.
The Animals 7" is a little teaser before Spod releases his next full-length album and it includes the tracks 'Cats!', 'Ladybug', and a cover of 2 Live Crew's filthy good 'We Want Some Pussy' (which is, interestingly, actually the opposite of platonic love between man and beast). Although, it must be said, offensive perfection like that song may not need to be toyed with.
Our buddies at Rice is Nice sent us a copy, and here's the very cute 'Cats!':
