Illustrator, painter, musician, clever cookie Mar 18, 2008 at 04:02
Stephen Tompkins is pretty much everything, except a tween pop star. He's a prolific illustrator, painter, sculptor, animator, experimental musician and an academic. He's completed a BA in Philosophy and a Masters in Phenomenology and Semiotics. Jealous? Confused? Me too.

His drawings and paintings are a little bit abstract, a little bit cartoon, and a little bit Dr Seuss. Based on the West coast of the US, Tompkins' works have been exhibited all over the USA and Europe since the mid-90s. He also makes eerie music, clever animations and probably has highly intelligent and grown up conversations with his friends.
