The French do that whole monochrome, simple, and subtle fashion thing
very well. Surface2Air's first collection for 2008 is all black, white
and grey; hardly any patterns or embellishments; but it's the cuts where things start getting a bit tricky and clever.
Surface2Air, born in Paris in 2000,
is a sneaky little business. Firstly there's Surface To Air Studio / S2A Studio, which is a creative direction and consultancy studio (with clients like L'Oreal, Louis Vuitton and Adidas), then in 2004, they launched their Surface2Air men's collection. And since then, well, suffice is to say they are a busy team.
