The Black Panthers and the Civil Rights Movement
Bruce
Davidson and Stephen Shames photographed America during one of its most
tense and significant times. Their images capture moments of defiance,
anger, heartbreak, hostility and uneasiness during the Civil Rights
Movement of the late 50s and 60s.

What a time it would've been to live back then.I cant even imagine all the things my people had to go through. To see that we finally took a stand from racism and to raise up and fight back is a great feeling though.Kudos on this post and these pictures are excellent.
