The Very Best – AKA Esau Mwamwaya and Radioclit – introduce the Warm Heart of Africa
<< Back
Featuring Ezra Koenig Jun 25, 2009 at 12:20
The Very Best (AKA Esau Mwamwaya and Radioclit) are almost ready to release their debut full-length album the Warm Heart of Africa. The duo, a Euro DJ/producer and a Malawi-via-London singer/MC, have found a semi-unlikely collaborator in Ezra Koenig but the three work perfectly together on the playful and uplifting title track.

From the sounds of the lead single and the fact that they have teamed up with the likes of M.I.A. and Santigold in the past, The Very Best's first album could be just that.

You'd definitely want that song playing on a lazy summer's afternoon.
