The Wiggles are eating your children's brains
<< Back
Wolfram Hahn May 04, 2008 at 12:44
Well they're not really and no, the children in this photographic series entitiled A Disenchanted Playroom by photographer Wolfram Hahn are not on heroin, they've not suffered a labotamy and they're not mentally retarded. It's much, much worse. They're watching television.

Wolfram Hahn photographed a bunch of children between the ages of 3 and 12 while watching TV and as a series it's a pretty frightening look at the effect of this medium on children's minds. The images depict the lifeless shells of young children in a trance with a complete absence of any thought or emotion. Freaky.

check out the images to the right of this post ----> and for more info on the series visit Wolfram Hahn

It's not right. I hate kids being plugged in to TVs, PS3s, in-car 'entertainment' and the like all so that their parents can do the bare minimum required to actually 'parent' them. Pathetic, and devastating for the future of the kids.

this is incredibly artistic, everyone is commenting on the message being sent by the images, but the concept and images themselves are great, it was an excellent idea and it's really intriguing; i like it though it is a scary

a genius idea well executed.

I wonder what they're watching? T.V can turn out to be a wonderful medium for educating your children (or shutting them up), but more than often television and the shows parents are allowing their children to watch can cause a lot more harm than good. Society today is moraly corrupt and that shows through on the television. Do we want our young generation being educated about the world by this medium unsupervised? P.s. I also agree with holliewould, photos and concepts are great.

Those dim, slightly afraid, expressions make me think they're watching Anna Coren on A Current Affair.

no, then there would be a major human rights issues and the images would not be fit for publishing as all the kids would be shuving their hands down their throat and ripping all the vital organs out and then eating them just so they can shit them out again all over the television.

They all look brain dead. They will turn into the next generation of big brother fans. Save them now.......

Sorry but this kid looks too much like "Childs Play" Chucky for my liking.
