Fuck Yeah Oct 04, 2007 at 06:30
Now I know it's kinda nerdy, in fact it's really fucking nerdy, but I have a real soft spot for Tintin. Back in my early years, right around the time I was starting to read 'real' books, I also began to get acquainted with comic books. In particular the Belgian reporter Tintin, and his classical French counterpart Asterix kept me entertained for what could probably amount to years of my life. So hopefully you can forgive my unbridled enthusiasm upon hearing the news that a Tintin movie trilogy is in the works, with none other than Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson at the helm. The only downside at this stage is that it's apparently going to be produced in CGI, which has the potential to turn to shit, but until I've actually seen it turned to shit I'm still excited.

Oh I love Tintin! Takes me back to my primary school days lol, but I never knew he was Belgian, I always thought with the name and accent, that he was Asian... just with coloured hair hahaha. Can't wait for the movie!
