Celebrities and their fake deaths Nov 22, 2008 at 08:14
Lil Wayne, Wiley and Miley Cyrus have all died in the last two weeks. But not really.

A spate of online hoaxes has seen the above three shot, knifed and run over by drunk drivers until they were dead. Proper dead. The Lil Wayne and Wiley rumours started when someone created a fake BBC homepage and posted it online. Some foolish fools believed the shitty webpage and Wiley was forced to appear on the radio and confirm that he was in fact still alive.

That was last week. This week it’s all about Miley Cyrus being run over. Apparently someone hacked her Youtube account and posted a video saying she had been killed by a drunk driver. Since Cyrus was being interviewed by the Associate Press at the time that rumour was killed off pretty quickly.

Anyway, here are some famous people who have all mistakenly deaded by the media.

Will Ferrell and paragliding just sounds right for some reason.

Car crash, murder, drug overdose, etc, are all fairly boring by celebrity standards. If you're going to fake someone's death you should at least be creative with it, i.e. Eminem chokes to death on a peanut. JT does that thing with the belt and the oranges that snuffed out Michael Hutchence.

Winehouse is a car crash. Does that count?
