What happens when Maurice Sendak gives Spike Jonze his blessing to make pretty much the best children's book ever into a movie and Mr Jonze asks the amazing Karen O to write a song for it? Magic. That's what.
Karen O and the Kids' 'All is Love' is all innocence, syrupy sweetness and sing along style. And if you're not picturing yourself wearing Max's crown and playing games with the Wild Things, you might have a black heart. And if you don't get teary listening to Maurice Sendak talk about Spike Jonze's take on the book, you might have a black heart filled with eight different kinds of issues.
