Rens - I used to work for a guy who spent a lot of time in NY. He’d always say “Yo B, this shit is bananas”. Hopefully some of that ends up here.

Yoko Furusho in Wonderland

Fairytale illustrations Jul 15, 2008 at 07:44
Yoko Furusho makes everything seem like it's going to be alright after all. Her fairytale illustrations of sweet little things cover everything from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to the Moulin Rouge and she even makes the Seven Deadly Sins look adorable.

Born in Tokyo, Furusho eventually moved to New York to study illustration at the School of Visual Arts, where she graduated this year and now works as a freelance artist. Her clients include Vain magazine, she's had works appear in a bunch of exhibitions and has won a swag of awards.

So sweet you could eat them up. Or see them in real life at her first solo show, opening 31st July at Destination NY but if you can't make it, see a lot more at yokofurusho.com.
