Dimitri Kalagas
MIA in the studio
10/8/2007 5:57:54 PM
I just stumbled across a couple of videos of M.I.A. doing her production thing in the studio, one with
Diplo
during the production of a stand out track from Kala,
Paper Planes
, and another one with Baltimore producer
Blaqstarr
while they were working on the track
What I Got
, which is available as a bonus track on the Japanese release of Kala, or from
here
. It's kind of cool to see how it all goes down, check out the vids below.

I like big butts and I cannot lie.
Dimitri Kalagas is the music editor, designer and blogger for Lifelounge. Much of his life is spent trawling the depths of the web for both useful and useless information, with the remainder spent designing, interviewing, writing, photographing and listening. This blog is a random collection of things that inspire those activities.
