Daft Punk exploded my brain, but I have some nice pictures 12/17/2007 9:00:00 PM
There is already another blogger here on Lifelounge that has pretty thoroughly voiced his love of the French robot duo Daft Punk, so for this reason I won't bore you with tales about how amazing the show was, and how it will probably go down as one of the greatest concert going experiences I am ever likely to encounter, except to say that if you weren't there, you're a sucker. Particularly because there are rumours that the incredible lighting rig (including the famous glowing pyramid) is going to be laid to rest after the Alive tour concludes, meaning that this was probably the only chance we'll ever get to see it.

All is not lost though, luckily on the night I was a lucky holder of a photo pit pass, which I used to shoot as much of the first few tracks of the show as I could, before I was gently moved along by security. So for a taste of what it was like to be practically on stage during a Daft Punk show, head to my gallery of images here, and press forward really quickly while listening to Robot Rock (which I've posted for you below).

awesome... still no matter how many photos you look at, videos you watch on youtube or times you listen to their alive 2007 cd, it WILL NEVER compare to seeing it in person!

True that. So rare for a hyped act to actually not just match but exceed the expectations of their performances. Fucking Awesome.
