Yulia Brodskaya's next level paper type

You've by now undoubtedly seen the work of Russian designer Yulia Brodkaya floating all over the blogosphere but it's too good for me not to feature here. Her work is kind of like what Si Scott would produce if he had crazy paper skills. Amazing cut and paste paper typography and her illustrative type is just as good too. Amazing stuff.

Steven Hill's film title screen archive

Film collector Steven Hill has gone through his enormous film collection and cataloged and archived over 5000 title screens contained within films produced over the last 60 years or so. It's an absolute gold mine of hand set type and typeface and film logo design from yesterday's masters of the craft. Below is a sample of me just skimming the surface but if you've got some time to kill, check shillpages.com. Definitely one for your type resource bookmarks.

A dirty preview of the cover art for the upcoming edition of Lifelounge Magazine - The Dirty Edition. Dirty huh? The mag has literally just been sent off to press so fingers crossed it should be available in about a week and a bit. Can't wait to see it in the flesh. Stay tuned for details.

Thomas Addison's sick type

Some awesome type treatments from London designer Thomas Addison. A few obvious inspirations in there from designers like Alex Trochut and Emil Kozak buy some great executions all the same. I especially like the Sick treatment.
