Beastie Boy Adam 'MCA' Yauch is cancer free

It’s a happy day today. Adam Yauch (AKA MCA) from the Beastie Boys has the cancers no more!
After being diagnosed last year with cancer of the salivary gland, itwas announced that he is officially in remission.
"I feel better," 45-year-old Yauch said on the red carpet at the Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles on Friday. "It was touch and go there for a while, but I am finally getting my energy back." Which means the group can get back into touring and finishing their album,
Hot Sauce Committee: Part One, which was put on hiatus due to Yauch’s illness. "It was really disappointing to have to hold the record and postpone the tour, but doctors' orders."
The album, which was set to drop last September, is rumoured to be released by September this year.
